ما هي الأحاديث التي وردت عن ماء زمزم؟ وما هو سندها؟

What are the hadiths that have been narrated about Zamzam water? And what is their chain of transmission (sanad)?

Answer:

الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله، وعلى آله وصحبه أما بعد:

All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and his companions. To proceed:

فقد وردت أحاديث كثيرة في فضل ماء زمزم، منها الصحيح والحسن ومنها الضعيف. ومما صح من ذلك:

Many hadiths have been narrated regarding the virtues of Zamzam water, among them are authentic (sahih), good (hasan), and weak (dha’if). Among what is authentic from that are the following:

ما رواه الطبراني في معجمه الكبير والأوسط عن ابن عباس -رضي الله عنهما- أن النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال:

What was narrated by Ath-Thabrani in his Mu’jam Al-Kabir and Al-Awsath from Ibn ‘Abbas radhiyallahu ‘anhuma that the Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:

خير ماء على وجه الأرض ماء زمزم، فيه طعام من الطعم، وشفاء من السقم.

The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam; it contains food that satisfies and a healing for illness.

ومنها حديث أبي ذر -رضي الله عنه- أنه لما أخبر النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بمكثه ثلاثين بين يوم وليلة بمكة، قال له النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: فمن كان يطعمك؟ فقال له: ما كان لي طعام إلا ماء زمزم ..، فقال له النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-:

And among them is the hadith of Abu Dharr radhiyallahu ‘anhu, that when he informed the Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam about his stay for thirty days and nights in Makkah, the Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said to him: Who was feeding you? He replied: I had no food except Zamzam water…, so the Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said to him:

إنها مباركة، إنها طعام طعم. رواه مسلم،

Indeed, it is blessed; it is a food that satisfies. (Narrated by Muslim).

وفي مسند الطيالسي: إنها لمباركة، هي طعام طعم، وشفاء سقم.

And in Musnad Ath-Thayalisi it is mentioned: Indeed, it is surely blessed; it is a food that satisfies and a healing for illness.

وفي مسند الإمام أحمد وسنن ابن ماجه وغيرهما عن جابر -رضي الله عنه- أن النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال:

And in Musnad Imam Ahmad, Sunan Ibn Majah, and others, from Jabir radhiyallahu ‘anhu, the Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:

ماء زمزم لما شرب له.

The water of Zamzam is for whatever purpose it is drunk for.

إلى غير ذلك من الأحاديث الكثيرة.

In addition to many other hadiths.
