فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

Maka mereka ditimpa oleh (akibat) kejahatan perbuatan mereka dan mereka diliputi oleh azab yang selalu mereka perolok-olokan.

So they were struck by the evil consequences of what they did and were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
