Accord- ingly, the deity which the religious person secks to bring closer to, himself by his palpable symbols, is consubstantial with the power acting in ac- cordance with natural laws for which the sense data of the scientist provide a certain degree of evidence, However, in spite of this unanimity a funda- mental difference must also be observed.
