Then Satan cast for Adam and Eve a whispering to make them both fall into the disobedience of Allah the Exalted by eating from that tree which Allah forbade them both from; so that their consequence be the disclosure of what was covered of their private parts, and he said to them both in an attempt of plotting against them both: Your Lord only forbade you both from eating from the fruit of this tree in order that you both do not be two angels, and in order that you both do not be of the eternal ones in life.
