The people of Moses-from the Children of Israel-said to their Prophet Moses: We were tested and harmed by the slaughtering of our sons and the keeping alive of our women on the hand of Pharaoh and his people, from before that you come to us, and from after that you came to us, Moses said to them: Perhaps your Lord to destroy your enemy Pharaoh and his people, and make you succeed in their land after their destruction, then He looks how you work, do you give thanks or disbelieve?
