Only the obligatory Zakat is given to the needy who do not possess anything, and to the poor who do not possess their sufficiency, and to the workers who gather it, and to those whom you join their hearts by it from who his Islam is hoped or the strength of his faith or his benefit for the Muslims, or you repel by it the evil of someone from the Muslims, and it is given in the freeing of the necks of the slaves and the ones who have a contract for freedom, and it is given to the debtors for the reform of the state of between, and for whom the debts burdened them in other than corruption nor squandering so they became in difficulty, and for the warriors in the cause of Allah, and for the traveler whose provision was cut off, this division is an obligation Allah ordained it and measured it. And Allah is All-Knowing with the interests of His servants, All-Wise in His management and His law.
