The ones stayed behind who stayed back from the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him rejoiced by their sitting in (Medina) as ones opposing the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and they hated that they strive with him with their wealth and their souls in the cause of Allah, and some of them said to others: "Do not move in the heat," and the battle of (Tabuk) was in the time of the intensity of the heat. Say to them-O Messenger-: "The fire of Hell is more severe in heat, had they been knowing that."
