Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah-which are two small hills near the Kaaba from the eastern side-are among the manifest signs of Allah's religion through which Allah made His servants worship Him by striving (sa'i) between them. So whoever intends the Kaaba as a pilgrim for Hajj or Umrah, then there is no sin upon him nor any blame in striving between them, rather it is obligatory upon him, and whoever performs acts of obedience voluntarily from himself sincerely for Allah the Exalted, then indeed Allah the Exalted is Appreciative, rewarding the little with much, All-Knowing of the deeds of His servants so He does not let them go to waste, nor does He diminish for anyone even an atom's weight.
