(Tafsir for 67 is identical to 66 ) Moses said to them: "But rather cast you what is with you first," so they cast their ropes and their staffs, so it was imagined to Moses from the power of their magic that they were serpents crawling, so Moses perceived in himself fear.

Musa berkata kepada mereka: Bahkan lemparkanlah kalian apa yang ada bersama kalian terlebih dahulu. Maka mereka pun melemparkan tali-tali mereka serta tongkat-tongkat mereka, lalu dikhayalkan kepada Musa dikarenakan kekuatan sihir mereka bahwasanya ia adalah ular-ular yang bergerak cepat, sehingga Musa merasakan di dalam dirinya rasa takut.
