Allah the Exalted said to Adam and Eve: "Go down from the Paradise to the earth all together with Iblis, for you both and he are enemies, so if there comes to you from Me a guidance and a clarification then whoever followed My guidance and My clarification and acted by them both then indeed he is guided in the world, and finds guidance, and is not distressed in the Hereafter by the punishment of Allah."
