And this is a supplication from Abraham peace be upon him that Allah rescue his father from misguidance to guidance, so He forgives him and overlooks him, as Abraham promised his father by the supplication for him, then when it appeared clearly to him that he was persistent in disbelief and polytheism until he died he disassociated from him.
