And the ones who disbelieved from the Children of Israel plotted against Jesus, peace be upon him, by appointing someone to kill him by stealth, so Allah cast the likeness of Jesus upon a man who directed them to him so they seized him, and killed him and crucified him thinking that he was Jesus, peace be upon him, and Allah is the best of plotters. And in this is the affirmation of the attribute of Plotting for Allah—the Exalted—according to what befits His Majesty and His perfection; because He plotted with truth, and in opposition to the plotting of the plotters.
