The messengers said: "Your ill-omen and your deeds of polytheism and evil are with you and are returned upon you, is it that if you were exhorted with what contains your good you took an ill-omen and threatened us with the stoning and the punishment? but rather you are a people whose custom is the excess in the rebellion and the belying."
