Does this one who cut off his giving have knowledge of the unseen that what is in his hand will be exhausted until he withheld his recognized [good], for he sees that with his own eyes? The matter is not so, but only he withheld from the charity, recognized [good], righteousness, and joining [of ties]; out of stinginess and miserliness.
