And We had surely left the story of Noah with his people as a lesson and a proof on Our power for who is after Noah; so that they take lesson and take heed by what befell this nation which disbelieved in its Lord, is there then any one taking heed who takes heed? Then how was My punishment and My warnings for who disbelieved in Me and belied My messengers, and did not take heed by what came by it? Indeed it was great, painful.
