The example of these Jews in what fell by them of the retribution of Allah is like the example of the disbelievers of Quraish on the day of -Badr--, and the Jews of Bani Qaynuqa', where they tasted the evil consequence of their disbelief and their enmity for the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah be upon him in the world, while for them in the Hereafter is a painful, aching punishment.
