Indeed your Lord-O Prophet-knows that you rise for the tahajjud from the night less than two-thirds of it sometimes, and you rise half of it sometimes, and you rise its third at another time, and there rises with you a group from your companions. And Allah alone He is the One Who measures the night and the day, and knows their measures, and what passes and remains of them both, Allah knew that you are not capable of rising the night all of it, so He lightened upon you, so read in the prayer by night what was made easy for you its reading from the Qur'an, Allah knew that there will shortly be found in you who illness frustrates him from the rising of the night, and there are found other people who travel in the earth for trade and work seeking from the lawful provision of Allah, and other people who strive in the cause of Allah; for the raising of His word and the spreading of His religion, so read in your prayer what was made easy for you from the Qur'an, and be constant on the obligatory prayers, and give the Zakat mandatory upon you, and give charity in the faces of righteousness and excellence from your riches; seeking the Face of Allah, and whatever you perform of the faces of righteousness and good and the performance of the acts of obedience, you will meet its reward and its recompense at Allah on the Day of Resurrection better than what you put forward in the world, and greater from it in reward, and request the forgiveness of Allah in all your conditions, indeed Allah is Forgiving to you Merciful to you.
