(Repeat for verse 22) Indeed he reflected in himself, and prepared what he says of the defaming of Muhammad and the Qur'an, so he was cursed, and deserved by that the destruction, how did he prepare in himself this defaming? Then he was cursed likewise, then he reflected in what he measured and prepared of the defaming of the Qur'an, then he scowled his face, and became intense in the frowning and the gloom when the tricks were narrowed upon him, and he did not find a defect he could defame by it in the Qur'an, then he turned back turning away from the truth, and thought it too great that he acknowledge it, so he said about the Qur'an: "What this which Muhammad says but a magic narrated from the former ones, what this but the speech of the creatures Muhammad learned it from them, then he claimed that it is from with Allah."
