(Repeat for verse 40) Every soul by what it earned of the deeds of evil and bad is confined pledged for its earning, it not being released until it performs what is upon it of the rights and the retributions, except the sincere Muslims the companions of the right who released their necks through obedience, they are in gardens whose description is not reached, asking each other about the criminals who committed crimes in the right of their own selves: "What thing entered you into Hell, and made you taste its blaze?" the criminals said: "We were not of the praying ones in the world, and we used not to give charity and be good to the poor and the needy, and we used to talk with falsehood with the people of deviance and misguidance, and we used to belie the Day of Reckoning and Recompense, until the death came to us, while we were in those misguidances and unrecognized [actions]."
