Indeed, the deniers of the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and of the Qur'an, plot and manage; to repel by their plot the truth and support the falsehood, and I plot a plot to manifest the truth, even if the disbelievers hate [it], so do not hasten for them—O Messenger—by requesting the falling of the retribution upon them, but rather grant them respite and observe them a little and do not hasten for them, and you will see what befalls them of the punishment, exemplary retribution, retribution, and destruction.
