And were it not that Allah the Exalted has surely favored upon you-O Messenger-and had mercy on you with the blessing of prophethood, so He protected you by His success by what He revealed to you, a group from those who betray themselves would have resolved that they slip you from the path of truth, and they do not slip by that except themselves, and they are not capable on your harm because of the protection of Allah for you, and Allah sent down upon you the Qur'an and the Sunnah clarifying for it, and guided you to the knowledge of what you were not knowing before, and what Allah specified you with of favor was a great matter.
