And it has surely been sent down upon you-O believers-in the Book of your Lord that if you heard the disbelief in the verses of Allah and the mockery by them then do not sit with the disbelievers and the mockers, except if they embarked upon a conversation other than the conversation of disbelief and mockery in the verses of Allah. Indeed you if you sat with them, while they are upon what they are upon, then you are like them; because you were pleased with their disbelief and their mockery, and the one pleased with the disobedience is like its doer. Indeed Allah the Exalted is the Gatherer of the hypocrites and the disbelievers in the fire of Hell all together, they meeting therein the evil of the punishment.
