And We took upon those who claimed that they are followers of the Messiah Jesus-while they are not so-the confirmed covenant which We took upon the Children of Israel: that they follow their Messenger and help him and support him, then they changed their religion, and left a portion from what they were reminded with, so they did not act by it, as the Jews did, so We cast between them the enmity and the hatred to the Day of Resurrection, and shortly Allah will inform them by what they used to perform on the Day of Reckoning, and He will punish them for their doing.
