Allah the Exalted informs about a group from the hypocrites that they were hastening in the affection of the Jews because of what was in their hearts of the doubt and the hypocrisy, and they say: "We only love them for fear that they overcome the Muslims then they strike us with them," Allah the Exalted his mention said: so perhaps Allah brings the victory-meaning the conquest of -Mecca-- and helps His Prophet, and manifests Islam and the Muslims over the disbelievers, or prepares of the matters what the strength of the Jews and the Christians goes away by it, then they submit to the Muslims, then at that time the hypocrites regret on what they concealed in themselves of their alliance.
