Allah informs His Prophet of something from the sins of the Jews-and it was from what they used to hide between themselves-that they said: "The hand of Allah is withheld from the performance of the good things, He was stingy upon us with the provision and the expansion," and that when a drought and famine reached them. Their hands were tied, meaning: their hands themselves were withheld from the performance of the good things, and Allah expelled them from His mercy because of their word. And the matter is not as they fabricate it against their Lord, but rather His two hands are spread He is not restricted, and no preventer prevents Him from the spending, for indeed He is the Generous the Bestower, He spends on the requirement of wisdom and what is in it the interest of the servants. And in the verse is the affirmation of the attribute of the Two Hands for Allah the Exalted as befits Him without resemblance nor modality. But they shortly will increase in transgression and disbelief because of their hatred and their envy; because Allah has surely chosen you with the message. And He the Exalted informs that the sects of the Jews will continue until the Day of Resurrection allying each other against each other, and avoiding each other from each other, whenever they plotted on the plotting for the Muslims by stirring up the trials and lighting the fire of war Allah repelled their plotting, and dispersed their gathering, and the Jews do not cease acting by the acts of disobedience to Allah from which the corruption and the agitation in the earth arises from it. And Allah the Exalted does not love the corrupters.
