So whomsoever Allah wills that He grant him success for the acceptance of truth He expands his chest for monotheism and faith, and whomsoever He wills that He misguide him He makes his chest in a severe state from the constriction away from the acceptance of the guidance, like the state of who ascends in the high layers of the air, so he is struck with a severe constriction in the breathing. And just as Allah makes the chests of the disbelievers intensely narrow and constricted, likewise He makes the punishment upon those who do not believe in Him.
