2. the incapacitation and replacement of the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) and the United Nations-led humanitarian system;  
3. and, paralyzing of accountability mechanisms and obstructing the prevention of Israeli crimes.  

Western, colonial states—particularly the US, UK, and Germany—have significantly contributed to ongoing crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 2023. These states have not only provided the Israeli regime with military arms and intelligence, but also granted it political legitimacy and diplomatic protection. They have repeatedly blocked ceasefire efforts, shielded the Israeli regime from accountability in international fora, and actively undermined the UN’s humanitarian mechanisms, most notably through the defunding and incapacitation of UNRWA.  

Their complicity extends across every dimension of the Israeli regime’s commission of crimes:  

1. Genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza, including the impositions of conditions of slow death;  
2. Systematic and repeated forced displacement of millions;  
3. Obstruction and weaponization of humanitarian aid and engineered starvation;  
4. Deliberate targeting and destruction of civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and shelters;  
5. And in the mass, willful killing of Palestinians.  

In the Gaza Strip, it is evident that without the backing of these states, the Israeli regime would not have been able to carry out its crimes in Gaza to this scale, for this duration, or with this level of immunity. The aid and protection provided by these states have facilitated Israeli actions, and shaped the conditions under which these crimes have been carried out and sustained.
