The Christians who say that Allah is the Messiah son of Mary have surely disbelieved, say-O Messenger-to these ignorant ones from the Christians: "If the Messiah was a god as they claim He would have been able to repel the decree of Allah if it came to him by his destruction and the destruction of his mother and whoever is on the earth all together, and the mother of Jesus has surely died so he did not repel from her death, likewise he is not able that he repel from himself; because they are two slaves from the slaves of Allah they are not capable on repelling the destruction from them, so this is a proof on that he is a human like the rest of the children of Adam." And all the beings in the heavens and the earth belong to Allah, He creates what He wills and brings it into existence, and He is over all things powerful. For the reality of monotheism necessitates the uniqueness of Allah the Exalted with the attributes of Lordship and Divinity, so no one from His creation associates with Him in that, and frequently the people fall into polytheism and misguidance by their excess regarding the prophets and the righteous, as the Christians exceeded regarding the Messiah, for the universe all of it belongs to Allah, and the creation is in His hand alone, and what appears of miracles and signs its return is to Allah. He Glorified be He creates what He wills, and does what He intends.
