And these disobedient ones thought that Allah would not take them with the punishment as a recompense for their disobedience and their arrogance, so they moved in their desires, and were blind from the guidance so they did not see it, and were deaf from hearing the truth so they did not benefit by it, then Allah sent down upon them His punishment, then they repented so Allah turned to them in forgiveness, then many of them were blind, and were deaf, after the truth had become clear to them, and Allah is All-Seeing of their deeds their good and their evil and He will recompense them for them.
