O you who confirmed Allah and His Messenger and acted by His law do not kill the catch of the land, while you are in the state of Ihram with Hajj or Umrah, or you were inside the Haram and whoever killed any type of the catch of the land intentionally then the recompense for that is that he sacrifice the like of that catch from the livestock: the camels or the cattle or the sheep, after two just ones measure it, and that he offer it to the poor of the Haram, or that he buy with the value of its like food he offers it to the poor of the Haram for each needy person half a Sa', or fast instead of that a day for every half a Sa' from that food, Allah ordained upon him this recompense; so that he meets by the necessitating of the mentioned recompense the consequence of his action. And those who fell in something of that before the prohibition then indeed Allah the Exalted has surely pardoned from them, and whoever returned to the opposition intentionally after the prohibition, then indeed he is exposed to the retribution of Allah from him. And Allah the Exalted is Almighty Powerful protected in His authority, and of His might is that He retributes from who disobeyed Him if He intended, no preventer prevents Him from that.
