The path of those You have bestowed favor upon from the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, for they are the people of guidance and steadfastness, and do not make us from those who followed the path of those who earned [Your] anger, those who knew the truth and did not act upon it, and they are the Jews, and whoever was like them, and those who are astray, and they are those who were not guided, so they lost the way, and they are the Christians, and whoever followed their way. And in this supplication is a healing for the heart of the Muslim from the disease of denial, ignorance, and misguidance, and an indication that the greatest blessing ever is the blessing of Islam, so whoever was more knowledgeable of the truth and more following of it, was more worthy of the straight path, and there is no doubt that the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, are the people most worthy of that after the prophets, peace be upon them, so the verse indicated their virtue and the greatness of their status, may Allah be pleased with them. And it is recommended for the reciter to say in the prayer after reading the Fatihah: (Amin), and its meaning is: O Allah, respond, and it is not a verse from Surah Al-Fatihah by the agreement of the scholars; therefore they reached a consensus on not writing it in the Mushafs.
