المسألة الثانية: حكم استعمال الإناء المُضَبَّب بالذهب والفضة

Discussion Two: The Ruling on Using a Vessel Repaired with Gold or Silver

إن كانت الضبة من الذهب حرم استعمال الإناء مطلقاً؛ لدخوله تحت عموم النص

Gold Repairs : If the repair is done with gold, using the vessel is strictly prohibited in all cases, as it falls under the general ruling of prohibition based on the previously mentioned texts.

أما إن كانت الضبة من الفضة وهي يسيرة فإنه يجوز استعمال الإناء؛ لحديث أنس – رضي الله عنه – قال:

Silver Repairs : If the repair is made with silver and is minimal, using the vessel is permissible. This is supported by the narration from Anas – رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ – who said:

(انكسر قدح رسول الله – صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ – فاتخذ مكان الشعْب سلسلة من فضة)

“The drinking cup of the Messenger of Allah – صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ – was broken, so he mended the broken part with a piece of silver.” ¹

التضبيب: هو وصل الإناء المكسور بالحديد ونحوه.

Ath-Thadhbib (Reinforcement) : It refers to mending a broken vessel using materials like iron or similar substances.
