And it is forbidden upon you the marriage of the married women, except whom you took as captives from them in Jihad, for indeed it is lawful for you their marriage, after seeking to ensure the vacancy of their wombs by one menstruation, Allah wrote upon you the prohibition of marriage of these, and made permissible for you the marriage of whoever is besides them, from what Allah made lawful for you that you seek with your wealth the chastity from committing the forbidden. So what you enjoyed of them by the correct marriage, then give them their dowries, which Allah ordained for them upon you, and there is no sin upon you in what mutual agreement occurred by it between you, of the increase or decrease in the dowry, after the establishment of the obligation. Indeed, Allah the Exalted was All-Knowing of the affairs of His servants, All-Wise in His rulings and His management.
