And whoever has no capacity for the dowries of the free believing women, then for him is that he marry other than them, from your believing young women who are owned. And Allah the Exalted is the All-Knowing of the reality of your faith, some of you from others, so marry them with the agreement of their people, and give them their dowries upon what you mutually agreed by it with a good soul from you, being chaste ones away from the forbidden, not manifest ones of adultery, nor secret ones of it by taking secret lovers, then if they were married and brought forth the immorality of adultery then upon them is half of the punishment that is upon the free women. That which was made permissible of the marriage of slave girls in the preceding description was only made permissible for whoever feared upon himself falling into adultery, and the patience from sexual intercourse was difficult upon him, and the patience from the marriage of slave girls along with chastity is more worthy and better. And Allah the Exalted is Forgiving to you, Most Merciful to you since He permitted for you in their marriage at the inability from the marriage of free women.
