ومفهوم الإيمان أو العقيدة ينتظم ستة أمور:
The understanding of Faith or Creed encompasses six matters :
أولاً: المعرفة بالله، والمعرفة بأسمائه الحسنى وصفاته العليا، والمعرفة بدلائل وجوده، ومظاهر عظمته فى الكون والطبيعة.
The first : Knowledge about Allah, knowledge about His beautiful names (Asmaul Husna) and His magnificent attributes, knowledge about the proofs of His existence, and the signs of His greatness in the universe.
ثانيًا: المعرفة بعالم ما وراء الطبيعة، أو العالم غير المنظور، وما فيه من قوى الخير التى تتمثل فى الملائكة، وقوى الشر التى تتمثل فى إبليس وجنوده من الشياطين، والمعرفة بما فى هذا العالم أيضًا من جِن وأرواح.
The second : Knowledge about the realm beyond this universe (the metaphysical realm) or the unseen realm (ghaib). This includes the forces of good within it manifested in the existence of angels, as well as the forces of evil within it manifested in the existence of Satan and his army of demons. It also encompasses knowledge about what exists in the universe from among the jinn and spirits.
ثالثًا: المعرفة بكتب الله التى أنزلها لتحديد معالم الحق والباطل، والخير والشر، والحلال والحرام، والحسن والقبيح.
The third : Knowledge about the books of Allah (Al Kitab) that He revealed to establish the boundaries of truth and falsehood, goodness and evil, lawful and unlawful, what is good and what is bad.
رابعًا: المعرفة بأنبياء الله ورسله الذين اختارهم ليكونوا أعلام الهدى، وقادة الخلق إلى الحق.
The fourth : Knowledge about the prophets and messengers of Allah whom He chose to be bearers of guidance and leaders of humanity towards truth.
خامسًا: المعرفة باليوم الآخر، وما فيه من بعث وجزاء، وثواب وعقاب وجنة ونار.
The fifth : Knowledge about the Day of Judgment, along with the events of resurrection, recompense, rewards and punishments, paradise and hell.
سادسًا: المعرفة بالقدر الذى يسير عليه نظام الكون فى الخَلق والتدبير.
The sixth : Knowledge about destiny, which governs the system of the universe in its creation and regulation.
